  1. This vlog is very professional, and come across as really confident. I like the way you have discussed your corrections from previous creative tasks, in which you want to show in your final piece. You have identified your starting objectives well, and it seems as if you have achieved them all. It's really interesting how you have incorporated particular adjectives into your routine. I am looking forward to seeing your final choreography piece. Well done Daisy.

  2. This is a great vlog Daisy, well done! At the start of your vlog, you spoke about how there is more room to improve your dynamics and performance, how will you do this? And why do you think the performance will be effective to the audience?

    1. Thankyou Megan. I would like to do this by watching back my studio performance and highlighting areas where my expression seems to be lost or lacking impact. This will help me to focus on where in my dance I need to really push my facial expressions and perhaps help to find opportunities where I can pause, look out and engage with the audience. To improve the dynamics of my piece, I want to ensure that I completing each movement to its' limit - for example holding each extension until the very last count and using my plie as deeply as possible.

    1. Thankyou Abi. By having these adjectives in mind throughout the choreographic process, it has ensured that all of my movements have intent and purpose behind them which relate back to my stimulus. They have also helped to give me inspiration where I felt stuck with my choreography, as I was able to generate different ways of symbolising each of the adjectives through my movement, as well as encouraging me to use my facial expressions to convey each adjective and emotion.

    1. Thankyou Bella. Since reviewing Dance Piece #2 by Crystal Pite, I hope to include some sharper, more precise and impactful dynamics in my choreography, in order to contrast the fluid and expansive movement that I have previously been inspired by. This will be seen in the section of my choreography which alludes to some form of abuse or trauma, as the music becomes more eerie and haunting.

  5. This vlog was very professional and clear to understand. I find it interesting how you mentioned you have made a time schedule to keep yourself productive in lesson time. Maybe you could include a photo of this or explain your schedule further.

    1. Thankyou Sadie. In my schedule, I planned to choreograph around 1 minute 20 seconds per week, which would ensure that I had finished the duration of my music by the time it was our studio performance. This would then leave me with one more session to refine and enhance my work before our assessment.
